Hong Junsheng 100 Anniversary

Please be advised that this year’s “Taiji Tradition Camp” at camp Thunderbird, Victoria will be from Sept. 29 to Oct. 5, 2008. This event is a one week workshop. During one of the workshop days, master Chen Zhonghua will celebrate his master Hong Junsheng’s 100th anniversary with his students and some of his fellow disciples.

    • 4. Something acceptable for going out to eat and meeting dignitaries.
    • 5. 2 sets of work out clothes.
    • 6. Training shoes.
    • 7. Comfortable walking shoes.
  • Medicine
    • 1. Your personal prescriptions
    • 2. Cipromax for stomach
    • 3. Ginger Tea for stomach
    • 4. Acidophilus for bowels
    • 5. Imodium for bowels
    • 6. Antiseptic soap
    • 7. Vitamins
    • 8. Polysporin and bandaids
    • 9. Disposable hand wipes
  • Electrical
    • 1. The voltage in China is 220 volts 50Hz. Make sure your electrical equipment is rated for this. Most modern stuff is, but check. If your equipment won’t run on this it is best to get a voltage converter/transformer.

Travel from these locations to the mountain is your own responsibility but the Daqingshan staff would assist you anyway they can.
  • Pick up and drop off at the cost of the students at the following locations: Weifang or Qingdao.
    Qingdao cost: ~US$80 both ways.
    Weifang cost ~US$70.00 both ways.
  • Certification
    Level Three Instructor’s Certificate for Chen Style Taijiquan from the Hunyuantaiji Academy. Certificate will be signed by master Chen Zhonghua. There will be other individual course certificates authorized by individual masters who will teach the courses.
  • Fee
    US$65.00 tuition*.
  • Application Deadline
    Application deadline is one week prior to the begining of each session.
    Early registration is strongly recommended.
