How can I locate master Chen Zhonghua?

Please use this site to view master Chen Zhonghua’s teaching calendar.
Till 2010, master Chen Zhonghua is based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He will be teaching seminars internationally from time to time. He will also spend three months every year on Daqingshan in China.
After 2010, master Chen Zhonghua will be based on Daqingshan, China and will continue to teach seminars internationally.

Gangster Xu and master Chen picked him up from the Qingdao airport. Heavy fog on near Wulian. Arrived on the mountain after 1 in the morning.

Body parts must all be coordinated when moving

If one part of the body moves too fast or too slowly in comparison to the rest of the body, you will appear to be awkward.
Taught and corrected “Step back to double shake feet” this morning.

Stancato Departs

The entire staff went to Qingdao to see him off. They also got a paid holiday at the beach.

Master Chao Xiuzhen visits Daqingshan

Master Chao Xiuzhen visited Daqingshan International Cultural Exchange Center from June 8 to 10, 2007. Because of heavy teaching schedule, master Chao was only able to stay for two days this year. Master Chao was accompanied by his wife, grandson and two disciples.
During these two days, master Chao’s student Wang spent many hours working with Daqingshan students and learned from master Chen Zhonghua.
Master Chao gave two copies of his Hong Junsheng picture book: one to Michael Stancato and one to John Brown.
Master Chao was one of grandmaster Hong Junsheng’s disciples.

The rotations of Taijiquan

Explained the horizontal and vertical rotations of taijiquan.

John is starting to understand the concept of “the hand does not move, the body moves”.

Out move the hand, large

In move the elbow, large.

Hand, head and rear foot: one thing.

Shoulder, elbow, kua: one thing.

Push Hands: Always go down.

Not by yourself freely, but go down while you are pushing or pulling. The downward move is actually a stretch. Not a movement of your body downwards.
