John and Carol Brown departed
Daqingshan this morning at 5:30 am. They are going home to Iowa via Qingdao, Beijing and Chicago. They have been here since May 1, 2007. John came to the full time program while Carol just came to accompany him. Carol ended up taking taiji lessons and became very good at it too!

Paul Hutcheson arrives via Qingdao
Paul is from Des Moines, Iowa. He will be here till August 5, 2007. Paul Hutcheson started with John Brown and has been part of the Practical Method for over three years. Paul also practice Hunyuan Qigong.
How to sink while neutralizing
Master Chen showed Michael Lorincz and Nathan Heitz how to sink while neutralizing a push. After some experimentation, the technique is set up as a drill for them and others to practice with.
Making progress on “Don’t move your hand!”

Students are making progress with the concept of “Don’t move your hand!” As a result, they are starting to move the waist more properly. This is clearly demonstrated when they pushed hands with master Chen yesterday afternoon.
